SYNOPSIS OF STORY

It's the carrot to the donkey, the worm to the fish. It is an altered perspective, live living life on the floor where things are always looking up. Sometimes it is important to experience life from different points of view. We all need to vary our viewpoints, if only for a minute...

Director - Alan Neilson

I am a third of Crackerdog Productions, who are currently in post-production of a short film, Buoy. I am also writing a novel, Touching Wood, based on the lives of four boys growing up in the late 1970s. Being a creative soul, I am part way through composing music based on the recordings of my late grandparents. I am married and currently living happily in Dudley.

all style, no substance

Gekko.
Made me feel like the description page was linked to the wrong film! I like the film, but your little description didn't add up...

You
Confused? maybe we should draw you a roadmap, so you don't have to use you imagination.

quality is not good enough The subject matter is not treated to my taste. Good scenes to teach "dangling". In fact, that's why I played it. However, it is not appealing. Otherwise, idea is very good. Perhaps, more delicate. Good sorry.

Me
Made me feel hungry. Not bad filming, but didnt seem to be much point. Maybe if there is a story or plot it might have been A+, unfortunately ended up being a confusing C-

parker
Ignore the 'good camera operator-bad director' comment, as its just a 1minute film and actually youve directed it well.well done(except music)

Kerry
Alan-spagetti with a twist- I liked your angle. Kerry.

Wow! This is random as hell and not the sort of thing I'd watch when eating (especially spaghetti). I do like it though and the music is great! I like the way you used the ripples in the duvet and the sudden bursts of editing remind me of a very cool Snowboarding dvd I own. Good stuff. -steve-

Gord
It reminds me of a nightmare I once had; which is a good thing obviously.

kt
great. interesting. makes you think. if only for a minute.

Mike
Interesting. Very art- house, if not a little abstract.

Andrew Paul
Obviuosly one of those films where you need to be on the same wavelength as the director to understand it. I`m not sure I can go that high !. Good editing and creative use of camera, not too sure about the story though.

Axel
How many words are there to say " rubbish " ? What a lot of cobblers that was !

Gilbert's Grapes
Sweet! Why does everything have to have a message? Or pretend to have a message? 'Keep the question!' Everything signifies something!

Crazy Devil
Give the guy a break, it was visually pleasing which is more than u can say about others. As far as purpose, the visuals made up for the lack of 'a message' nice!

Kes
Kinda liked it

Da Director
Lighten up people, he is just having fun with images. Everyone is so serious.. life is too short. It's obviosuly about a drunken busride home, with alcohol fueled flashbacks. It is the most original piece of art on display here. Love you man.

Chas Manson
This had everything. Pasta, floss & a fat man! Well done you!

BIG M
I THINK YOU ARE A GOOD CAMERA OPERATOR AND EDITOR, BUT A LOUSY DIRECTOR - WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY TO YOUR VIEWERS? PLEASE LET ME KNOW - I'M INTERESTED.

De-Buea
This needs an extremely massive re- work from the ground up, I'm afraid, very afraid.

Nick
Good music. Good graphics in places. Lacked a purpose for me. Just my point of view though. good luck.

movie critic
Good photography in places and i liked the music but more 'floor cam' type stuff would have helped give it the look the Synopsis promises....
