SYNOPSIS OF STORY

A montage of public works of art on or near the banks of the River Tyne. The soundtrack was made on a midi programme, with a bathroom effect added by my soundcard.

Director - Paul Carty

In an effort to suffer from more "slings and arrows of misfortune", I have submitted this production.

Your film is great! But, is it your first short film?

tim buck 2
I'm actually warming to this now - it's more imaginative than you're other stuff

I like ART. Have been spending much time near the Sage & this gives me reasons to return to the Tyne & seek out your shots.

William Holmes
Strangely hypnotic

i reviewed your trainmovie(hogwart s) so i watched this as well,,,very interesting.,though as a musician you could get real effect by holding one picture for two beats (only one symbol)to "mix it up" it does not appear that you find this "art" monotone,,,,howev er the insistent beat and the repeat of images already seen makes the intelligent effect wear off quickly

tim buck 2
...a good effort indeed. However cutting directly on the beat got a bit much after a while. It felt decidedly corporate too. Nicely graded shots.

tim
good.

jita jones
didnae get it

SHAY
Some decent editing and good shot composition. Became repetitive though.

Jammer
An excellent piece of work - quite splendid framing and composition. You deserve to go far! How about working at the BBC? It looks like you have the talent to do it!

sean
dont like it cant even make it without downloding stuff

jim
Its was ok, if you were trying to bore us out of our minds with other people art work

joe hunter
fell flat on content. it was just a montarge of stationary objects. its art, but not as i like it.

BONGO
A BIT LAME!!!

Ian
I loved it!

Neil
Your opening shot of the bridge was a little long, and you returned to shots of scenes already featured. Maybe you should have sought out more pieces of public art rather than re-use the same things? Overall though, it was very good - your pacing and composition were excelent.

Sam
Got a bit boring after 20 seconds.

pete
punchy tight and fit for broadcast as a time filler

Ujjal
Good framing, but i didn't like the repeating bits.
