BBCi FILMS - Readers' Reviews

made of cardboard, more like. dempsey is nowhere as attractive as he believes he is, and the scottish scenes were excruciating. load of old cabbage, avoid!

Patrick Dempsey's got the sort of face most blokes would like to punch.but most women would like to kiss.so strictly for the women.

sure it wasn't great but it wasn't awful either. when people got to see rom-coms they dont go for hard-hitting sories, they just want a bit of a laugh. leave it alone it was funny!

one word for this movie, YUK

It's About time the delightful Michelle Monaghan got a lead role in a film because she was sorely wasted in this tedious chick flick.I dont know who the leading man was in this unfunny romp but he looked like he had wandered in from a toothpaste commercial and his acting reminded me of celery, tedious and stiff.

POTUS
Exactly the same as 'My Best Friend's Wedding' with the roles reversed. Clearly the Americans based their views of Scotland on Balamory, Braveheart and BBC Hogmany.

I usually do not like comedy but this movie is so very put together that I had to laugh. Scenes were taken out of real life context. It couldn't be better. I really enjoyed the movie. Also the scenery is pleasantly appealing.

kevin mckidd is far to good to keep getting stuck with rolls like this, sack your agent kevin, we have all seen what you can do in things like rome and 21 years of ,but if you like nyc and scotland and kevin you like this

Jeff Scholey
This film is harmless fun.If you have seen everything else at the cinema, there are worse films than this. It is more for girls though.
