I don't think the reviewer said the word screwball enough.

As bad as you'd expect from a movie with Clooney in it.

Only ardent Cloney fans would find this film remotely interesting.

dull and boring worst film I've seen for ages

I do admire George Clooney's efforts to bring quality back into cinemas. Unfortunately, Leatherheads falls way short of it's mark. It is neither funny nor charming.

Not as bad as some of the critics are saying, but it is too long and Renee Zellweger's gives us an impersonation of a 1920s woman, rather than an acting performance. Another director might have reined in Clooney's own performance - too much grimacing at the camera. But all in all, not bad even if you don't know anything about the origins of American football.

Good comedy, its not laugh out loud comedy as apposed to giggling
