The plot outline looks terrible. So it was no doubt I went with hesitations. I shouldn't have,the film was hilarious,heart warming and brilliant. Ryan Gosling & Emily Mortimer were fantastic in their roles and despite how far fetched everything is, you still get completely involved with everything that goes on. I urge people to see this film that deserves morep raise than it received.

Unlike the reviewer at the end of this film I was more mystified than misty eyed.Lars played by ryan gosling in his usual plodding style, has all the pathos of a serial killer.the character should be in therapy and on medication not roaming the streets with a rubber woman.I could'nt find any comedy in this film at all and found the whole thing lifeless like the doll.

I absolutely loved this film. I thought it was funny but also very touching. Ryan Gosling delivers yet again. He is fast becoming one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. I highly recommend this to anyone.

the rubber doll upstages the rest of the cast, which is'nt hard in this weird boring flick.flavour of the month actor ryan gosling sleepwalks his way through another role and its the audience that suffers in this strange unentertaining tale.
