Finally saw this on the big screen and it didnt dissapoint, amazing sound, picture and so ahead of its time Blade Runner is a sci-fi classic and one of the greatest films ever made.A film every movie lover should own!!

Blade Runner is a classic. Rightly considered one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever made. So why does Ridley Scott change the line to "I want more life father"? What a shambles! Loses all dramatic impact! Also, the dove should continue to fly up against a blue sky. Far more poignant. Stop tinkering Ridley, you're as bad as George Lucas!

Far & away the best cut of the film. The city-scapes are eye-bogglingly beautiful, every scene has been tidied up & made so much sharper & clearer. Mr Scott has (wisely IMHO)left out some of the longer" is Deckard a replicant?" dream sequences leaving a much more subtle & hence far more effective sub-plot for the die-hard fans to pick over. A great lesson in how sci-fi should really be done.

It's a crying shame that this film isn't showing on wider release.I went to see it at an arthouse cinema with a tiny screen, crummy sound and a torture device of a seat. This aside it still totally took my breath away seeing it at the cinema. It was more than worth the numb backside but I'm still bitterly dissappointed I can't see this at a decent cinema with THX sound, proper sized screen etc

Personally I'm sick and tired of hollywood re-releasing old films that have been remastered but finally we have found an example that has been worthwhile. The film has been very well polished and any extra CGI is kept to a minimum so not to interfere with the original classic. If you haven't seen this, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU !!!
