He famously set feminine hearts aflutter as the brooding Mr Darcy in both the BBC's Pride & Prejudice and The Bridget Jones pics. But now Colin Firth has decided to take his heartthrob status into rather darker territory in Canadian auteur Atom Egoyan's Where The Truth Lies. Playing one half of a double-act who shared not only their drinks, their parties but also their women, Firth stars opposite Kevin Bacon as his showbiz partner and Alison Lohman as the journalist investigating just what drove the men apart.
