SPECIAL FEATURES

Making of Roy Disney kicks off this ten-minute featurette by reminding us that "The Jungle Book" was the last animated feature his father worked on.

Everyone in the featurette thought the sequel was a good idea, and that the enhanced animation and greater colour palettes available now, compared to when the original was made, helped tell a good story.

Mowgli's Jungle Ruins Maze Take a trip round a maze of ruins and test your wildlife knowledge in a game that you're unlikely to play more than once.

Disney's Song Selection Seven songs are presented in this section with sing-a-long subtitles, including three different versions of "The Bare Necessities".

Deleted Scenes There are two deleted scenes on this disc (one of them featuring a full song) and both of them were removed as they made the character of Shanti "too feisty".

Additional Extra Features Also on the disc are two music videos, a three-minute synopsis of "The Jungle Book", and a text option for all of the songs in the film so you can sing-a-long.
