In & Out DVD (1997)

Kevin Kline tries to assert his butch side in the comedy farce "In & Out", which minces out on pretty little DVD.

Every limp-wristed moment of misunderstanding is captured on a fine transfer to disc. Check out in particular the scene with Matt Dillon gazing over both a swimming pool and the sea for confirmation of the freshness of the image.

The 5.1 sound mix concentrates on ambient effects, with Glen Close's speech to the Academy resonating nicely between the speakers. A little mayhem comes in the form of Kline crashing his bike, but otherwise don't expect to annoy the neighbours with this film.

A trailer is the only feature for this disc, but at least the film transfer is quite adequate.
