Biography

Award-winning Composer, Musician and Sound Designer. Previously trained in the performing arts followed by a successful career as a professional dancer abroad and in the UK followed by a BA Music Degree (first-class Hons) and extensive training in creating Music for the Media including a 'Diploma in Media Composition' from 'The Film Music Institute of Los Angeles.
Experienced in styles of music from children's TV to dark horror film scores. Most recent involvement has been in writing film scores, library music, music for dance and theatre productions and Podcast broadcasting. Enthusiastic well-motivated and accustomed to working to tight deadlines.
Member of BECTU, Equity, PCAM, PRS and The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.Recent works to have been completed are the scores for the British independent film 'Jack Says', USA film 'Jack Rio', Owen Tooth's film 'The Opening', Christopher Rossiter's film 'Nowhere' and DIB Pictures films 'Daddy', 'Miss Matched' and 'Fragile'. 'Fragile' was presented with 'Best Original Score' at the Arizona A3F film festival 2007.Other work includes: Derby Metro Cinema trailer, Scoring the short film 'Ctrl Alt Del' by Ethics Film Production, Indian and the production of the library music CDs 'Africa', 'Cinematic Moods', 'Child's Play' and 'The Orient' for AKM Music.

Project Development

Four library music CDs already released with AKM Music; 'Africa - AK056', 'Cinematic Moods - AK062', 'Child's Play - AK066' and 'The Orient - AK075' The score for another short film for 'Owen Tooth' called 'The Opening' a breathtakingly beautiful, truly unusual short, mixing art, horror and folklore, has now been completed.The score for the short film created by Hollywood's Christopher Rossiter called 'Nowhere' has also been completed.
