I go by the name of Mr Sprangers!....don't worry its not my professional name, but as your on my profile you can call me what my friends call me!

I'm 23 years old, live in Sutton-in-Ashfield in Nottinghamshire. I study a HND in Interactive Media, which involves a unit in film production, but that's not where I found my passion for film making.

About 5 years ago I started writing as a hobby, stuff like poetry, short stories, never thinking of doing anything with them. Then I completed a GNVQ in media studies, which gave me just a small taste of taking a story to the screen. I then completed a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia which gave me the opportunity to do more film production but also taught me good design skills, that translated well into my films.

At the end of the BTEC National diploma I wrote, planned, shot and produced a short film called "Game of Kings" which won the short film contest in the thriller genre. The No-Budget film is actually a metaphorical war film, which links to political views on how government's sending soldiers to fight their wars. The film was taken from paper to screen in 8 weeks and was my first ever serious attempt at film.

To portray my stories and vision to as many bright minds as possible. To provoke all kinds of emotional responses from audiences.
To live my life doing what I love most, making films.

Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Ridley Scott, Sam Mendes
