This short film, directed by Alfonso and Jonás Cuarón, (animation by Foreign Office), functions as an eye-opener and companion to Naomi Klein's new book The Shock Doctrine.

Klein reveals how capitalism has consistently been forced upon disaster-shocked people, connecting economic policy, warfare and covert CIA-funded experiments in electro-shock and sensory deprivation in the 1950s.
