Shadowplay by Flat-e

A handful of curious children file into a small circus tent to glimpse what lies within. Inside the dark confines of the tent a shadow play begins. The children's faces light up with glee but it soon becomes apparent that they will get more than they bargained for. The ancient machine seems to be controlled not by the hand of a puppet master but instead appears to have a life of its own. Innocently at first it soon twists into a show of strange hand deformations as peculiar mechanical whirring noises escape into the tent. The children realise to their horror that the machine is drawing its energy from their small bodies stealing their hands to be used as part of the macabre display.
