A prisoner's interrogation by paper machines. Inspired by Pop Levi's track (A Style Called) Crying Chic), we follow a conman's interrogation as he is questioned over suspicion of murder. Opening as the suspect is hooked up to a paper lie detector; various other paper machines are puppeteered as they recorded his confession.

Shot entirely from above, the plot is narrated only through the actors' hands and paper props. They re-enact a tale of a Bonnie and Clyde duo, an experienced outlaw and his newly trained accomplice.

Their relationship follows a typical path from their first meeting, to their first heist, but the liaison comes to an untimely end as her fiery temperament over takes her judgment, forcing the outlaw to take matters into his own hands.

Inspired by late 70's Open University programmes and the children's favourite Fingermouse.
