Faintheart is a comedy set in the world of battle re-enactments. Richard played by Eddie Marsan (Gangs of New York, 21 Grams, Vera Drake, Happy-Go-Lucky) is having a crisis of confidence and is trying to win back his wife, Cath played by Jessica Hynes (formerly Stephenson of Spaced). He escapes to the Viking world to hide from the realities of modern life and the responsibilities of being a father and husband. The film follows his journey to find the warrior within...

The project won the Myspace Movie Mash Up competition, in which it was selected by a panel of experts and then voted the winning entry by the public. Castings were hosted on Myspace with half-a-dozen roles going to members auditioning on online.

Faintheart is director Vito Rocco's first feature, in the video interview he talks of the challenges of stepping up from shorts to features and filmmaking alongside the Myspace community.
