SIX OF ONE..
15 March 2007

And as the competition gets fiercer as we shuffle through the week, the celebs are upping their game with every show.
It's hard to distinguish between our dirty half dozen now. But you must. Someone has to go.. tonight!
Opening the show, Angellica meant business. Singing her second Kylie track in a week, this one - Can't Get You Out Of My Head - was a toughie. "Brave," said Lesley. But Richard wasn't as forgiving, calling her performance "unbelievably excruciating".
Shaun's felt the sharp end of the judges' tongues for the past few nights, despite some powerhouse performances. But roughing it up a touch for Walking in Memphis proved a top move. "Fantastic," said Craig, overflowing with approval. As ever at odds, Richard called it a "cabaret version.. 75 per cent there", which had Carrie shouting in defence from the sidelines.
Despite Lesley earmarking Tricia's outing as the performance of the series last night, the Heartbeat star spent a nerve-wracking spell in the bottom three again last night. Inching up the glitterball factor tonight she belted out Feels Like I'm In Love, and the judges loved it. "Fantastic," gushed a clearly impressed Lesley.
It was another golden oldie for Colin tonight, who bounced across the set singing Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire. "Magnificent energy," said Craig. "I loved it," giggled Lesley, with Richard adding "The singing was the best you've put in so far." Blimey, all three in agreement? That's a Tuesday night first..
Keane's Somewhere Only We Know was Tara's choice tonight, and saw her at the piano for the second time in the series. Supremely nervous after finding herself in the bottom three last night, she started off a little shaky, but pulled it round for a solid finish. "You're putting your heart and soul into this," announced Lesley. "But we see into your soul and that is what performing is all about."
After an exhausting performance Tara broke down in tears. Did she do enough to survive?
The final performance tonight came from Ray, the only student yet to be in the bottom three. Could he find himself there tonight? Powering through Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick proved a winner. "The best act I've seen yet, terrific," said Richard. And Lesley agreed. "You're one hell of a performer," she said.
Half of tonight's students will be in the bottom three tonight, and it's up to you to choose them.
