COMEBACK KID
13 March 2007

Last night the judges' comments prompted Angellica to burst into tears, but being saved by the public vote has given her the encouragement to keep working hard.
She has yo-yoed in and out of the bottom three, but despite the criticisms last night, today Angellica was back in business.
Joining Carrie for vocal training, Angellica revealed how she felt about being saved by the public vote. "It was mad! I wanted to kiss and hug every person that voted for me," she smiled, adding, "I didn't think my performance was that bad..."
Thinking about her vocal efforts, she said: "OK, I've got to work on my tuning, but that was a hard song and I think I gave it a good shot... If they [the judges] hadn't been so harsh I probably would have been able to compose myself."
"I wear my heart on my sleeve," she continued. "And I've learnt in here that's not a bad thing. If I'm sad, I'm sad."
Nodding in agreement, Carrie told her: "You work harder than anyone else in here."
Laughing, Angellica shook her head: "I cried on national television! Cry baby Gelly! But that's me and I was hurt that they [the judges] didn't appreciate my hard work."
But there was no more time left to dwell on what's been and gone because it was time for Angellica get back down to work on her next track, Manic Monday.
So, Angellica may be the ultimate comeback kid, but can she pull it off again tonight? Make sure you watch the show to find out - BBC One at 7pm.
