In a nail-biting results show, Tim, Zoe, Shaun, Tricia, Colin, Tara, Ray and Mel all eased through tonight’s public vote for another day in the Academy.
But Linda, Angellica and Fred had to dig deep for a life-saving second time out on the mic. Both Linda and Angellica were returning to the bottom three, but Fred looked nervous at his first time in the bottom trio.
Both Craig and Richard saved Angellica, and the presenter was beside herself with joy at the prospect of another day of singing, dancing and coaching.
So Linda and Fred faced the sudden death vote from their fellow students. In a close-run contest, the two were neck and neck until the final two votes, as the girls voted for Linda and the blokes saved Fred. But both Mel and Angellica plumped for Fred, and sent Linda home to her husband and kids.
“I’ve enjoyed every minute,” Linda smiled of her brief time in the Academy. “It’s been absolutely amazing.”
So who’ll make it through to the weekend? That’s up to you tomorrow..
