Miranda Hart - expelled

Miranda Hart - expelled

Miranda is one of the UK’s top up-and-coming comediennes, following four successful years at the Edinburgh Festival and TV appearances on hit comedy shows such as Smack The Pony, Nighty Night and Jack Dee’s Lead Balloon.

She’s currently starring in the second series of Hyperdrive on BBC Two and was nominated for a British Comedy Award for her role in the first series. Other TV appearances include Lee Mack’s Not Going Out, Rush Hour, My Family and Other Animals, French and Saunders, Absolutely Fabulous and The Vicar of Dibley.

Recently Miranda wrote and performed in a monologue for Woman's Hour called The Hills Are Alive, a piece based around her real life experience of agoraphobia.

Miranda lists her skills as comedy writing, Alexander Technique, club level tennis, county level lacrosse, swimming, stage combat, basketball and football. So we won’t be messing with her then…

But that’s not all. Her musical abilities include singing mezzo soprano, playing piano to grade 6, performing basic tap, jazz and period dance.

At 6ft 1” tall, Miranda’s other claim to fame is that she is in the List of Famous Tall Women.

Miranda is the second celebrity to have been expelled.
