Former It-girl Tara has become a household name having built a successful career as a television personality, presenter and writer.

In the mid 90s Tara wrote a weekly column for the Sunday Times Style Magazine. Since then she has written for Closer, GQ, The Observer, Harpers and Queen, the Telegraph, Tatler, InStyle, Eve and The Times.

She has also hosted and guest-presented a number of television shows, including Animals Do The Funniest Things, Junior Eurovision, Pop World, Top Of The Pops, 100 Greatest…, Place In The Sun, If Only I Could Meet…, and What Kids Really Think.

Since being in ITV1’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, Tara has returned to the outback to present coverage on ITV2.

Tara loves horse riding and skiing, and is a campaigner for charities such as Childline, The Lavender Trust Breast Cancer, the Chemical Dependency Centre and St Mary’s Paddington emergency unit. No wonder she was crowned ‘Woman of the Year’ 2005 by New Woman magazine!

She's now a director of events company Three’s a Crowd and in September 2007 will have her first book published, entitled So Over It.

Tara is an accomplished concert pianist having played at the Royal Festival Hall with the National Symphony Orchestra, entertained audiences at the Royal Albert Hall with Mozart and performed at The Coliseum for a Leonard Bernstein Tribute. She was also the star host of the Classic FM Gramophone Awards 2005.
