About the Show on BBC One
The ultimate celebrity singing contest is back with the third series of Comic Relief does Fame Academy and BBC One has all the live performances and all the results as they are announced. Presenter Patrick Kielty is joined by a new co-host, Claudia Winkleman, and each night the pair will guide you through the live performances from the infamous Circle of Fear. As ever, it will be a nail-biting contest of will, determination and raw talent as the celebrity students sing their hearts out to win your votes. Each night you will be able to vote to save your favourite. During the results show, the three students with the least number of votes will sing again, then face the Academy judges. The judges decide to save one of the three. After this, the remaining two face the student vote, which means that their fellow students must take turns to vote for the one they want to save. The student with the fewest votes is expelled that night. It’s going to be tough. It’s going to be tense. But hey, it’s for Comic Relief so it’s going to be a right laugh. Don’t miss any of the drama and excitement by tuning in to BBC One on 3rd March and then every night from Wednesday 7th until Red Nose Day on Friday 16th.  Patrick Kielty
Patrick is a successful stand-up comedian and presenter who began his career while still at university in Belfast. His satirical stand-up routines at the city’s Empire pub earned him local fame and he soon progressed to TV.
After a stint as a warm-up act, his big break came in 1995 when he was offered his own show on BBC Northern Ireland. PK Tonight achieved huge acclaim and after a year or so he moved on to present a new show, Patrick Kielty Almost live, which was shown on BBC nationwide. Since then, Patrick has continued to juggle his stand-up career with presenting light entertainment programmes such as Celebrity Love Island, Love Island and of course, Comic Relief does Fame Academy. Apparently, one of his ambitions is to learn to monoski (that’s waterskiing on one ski for the uninitiated).  Claudia Winkleman
Claudia began presenting on local magazine programme Central Weekend and has since become one of the most recognisable faces on TV today.
Last year she hosted her third series of Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two and presented the third series of BBC Three's House of Tiny Tearaways. Other shows Claudia has worked on include Three's A Crowd and End of Story. She was also the presenter of BBC Three's Liquid News. She presented the last series of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy on BBC Three and this year sees her move across to host the BBC One show alongside Patrick Kielty.
