Kalyan Varma

A naturalist, wildlife photographer and cameraman, Kalyan finds his peace in the rainforests of the Western Ghats, where he has spent many years documenting the area's wildlife. He specialises in covering conservation stories across India as well as helping with research and conservation. Kalyan filmed BBC Natural World documentary Mountains of the Monsoon in the Western Ghats mountains.
