   Andrew has been passionate about UK wildlife since he was a child. He currently works as a radio production assistant.

   After spending three years following baboons around a Namibian desert, Fredi has somehow found himself working on polar series Frozen Planet.

9. Ewan Edwards

   Ewan is a zoological field assistant at the British Antarctic Survey's Bird Island Research Station near South Georgia.

10. Felicity Egerton

    Felicity is a keen enthusiast for African wildlife. She works as a researcher in the BBC Natural History Unit.

11. Julian Hector

    Julian is Editor of Radio in the BBC Natural History Unit. Before the BBC Julian was a seabird biologist and university lecturer.

12. Chadden Hunter

    Chadden has been a wildlife biologist and filmmaker for over 10 years. He is currently a director on Frozen Planet.

13. Ellen Husain

    As a researcher and professional SCUBA diver, Ellen specialised in the underwater elements of South Pacific.

14. Stephen Lyle

    Stephen has spent the last nine years filming wildlife for programmes about subjects as diverse as sharks, primates and reptiles.

15. James Mair

    James works as a researcher. Codfish Island, New Zealand was his favourite place to visit in the South Pacific.

16. George McGavin

    George, an expert on tropical insects, is an Honorary Research Associate at Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

17. Simon Nash

    Simon is a keen diver and he specialises in underwater filming. His deepest dive was to 2,650m to film hydrothermal vents for The Abyss Live.

18. Ted Oakes

    Ted grew up on the edge of the Canadian wilderness. His passion is capturing the beauty and fragility of nature on film.

19. Charlotte Scott

    Charlotte is a trained marine biologist/zoologist. She is an assistant producer in the BBC Natural History Unit.

20. Matt Swarbrick

    Matt is a researcher for the Natural History Unit. He's spent time on South Georgia researching for his PhD on Macaroni penguin and fur seal behaviour.

21. Kalyan Varma

    A naturalist, photographer and cameraman, Kalyan finds his peace in the Western Ghats, where he's spent many years documenting the area's wildlife.

22. Elizabeth White

    Elizabeth is a director on Frozen Planet with a PhD in animal behaviour. As well as filming marine wildlife she's documented the lives of polar people.

23. Jeff Wilson

    A keen photographer, Jeff grew up working with wildlife in East Africa. He's now an Assistant Producer on Frozen Planet.
