Being watched by a wolf
When summer arrives in the Arctic, the place comes alive with breeding birds. For predators such as Arctic wolves, these few weeks represent an all-you-can-eat bonanza.
Living in such a remote place, these scruffy white wolves have possibly never seen humans. When one spots Chadden, she makes a beeline from over 2km just to check him out.

Chadden Hunter gets up close to an Arctic wolf.
As wolves trot through bird breeding colonies there's no need to tackle aggressive adult geese. Instead they gorge on unattended eggs or goslings, sometimes feeding on 50 nests in a row.
Natural history fim makers can spend hours trying to capture an animal on film. But sometimes the animal finds them first. Ellen Husain was suprised by an underwater predator when she went turtle watching with a twist in Hawaii.
