Swedish sisters Klara and Johanna Soderberg have captured the hearts of Paul Simon, Patti Smith and Jack White with their dreamy folk tunes that yearn for summer days.
Singing stories of love lost and found, they were discovered after a YouTube video of them singing Fleet Foxes Tiger Mountain Peasant Song went viral. Second album The Lion's Roar was produced by Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes and has seen them gain lots of attention across the world, including sessions for Dermot O'Leary and Huw Stephens. With many of their influences name checked in the track Emmylou, you can clearly see the development of their distinctive woodsy style which perfectly showcases their harmonious voices.
The girls have admitted that the desire for their music is 'to be like a plaster to your soul', which explains the medical name of the band, discovered at random in an English dictionary. A First Aid Kit in more ways than one, let this mesmerising duo sooth away your pain as they make their Glastonbury debut.
