About this event
The Proms festival isn’t just about listening to great music – it’s about bringing people together to make music, too. If you’ve ever wished you could get involved in playing or singing in a group, whatever your age, instrument or experience, now’s your chance!
The Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus is open to families of all shapes and sizes (ages 7-plus); whether you’re a complete novice or an aspiring virtuoso, it’s a great way to enjoy playing music together as a family. Each workshop is led by our team of professional musicians who help you to explore the music in a fresh and exciting way.
Join us on Sunday 3 August to explore the music of the First World War before coming to meet Joey from the National Theatre’s award-winning play War Horse at this afternoon’s Prom. For details about booking Proms tickets click here.
How to book THIS EVENT IS CURRENTLY FULLY SUBSCRIBED.
However you can still sign up to the waiting list and a member of the team will be in touch if a place becomes available.
Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus workshops are open to all levels of ability and experience (ages 7-plus). You don’t need to be able to read music. It's free to take part but places must be reserved in advance and all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
