Always The Ones

How proud would you be if your twins and their younger brother turned out to be in a massively successful band? Well the Jarman parents can joyfully sway with paper cups of cider at the side of the stage, as The Cribs are rocking it.

In 2008, Q magazine described the Wakefield boys as "The biggest cult band in the UK" due to their associations with The Libertines and praised their raspy, moody vocals and dissonant, stinging guitar hooks that enticed ex-The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr to join the band from 2008-2011.

Recent album In The Belly of The Brazen Bull was decribed by Drowned In Sound as 'an embarrassment of riches. This is their best yet and possibly the best of the year'. If that high praise isn't enough to entice you, latest single Glitters Like Gold has just been released as transparent glitter 7", bringing a touch of glamour to The Cribs' rock 'n' roll expertise.
