Far from straight forward

Local Leeds lads Crooked Tongues first came together in 2010. After a few line-up changes, the band soon settled, found their identity and are now shifting through the gears.

Citing influences from Arctic Monkeys to the Pink Floyd their music takes a lead from their name pointing in many different rock and roll directions. There’s psychedelia, classic rock, moments of Britpop from yesteryear and plenty of dirty licks and riffs keeping it all together. Performances across Leeds’ music venues have generated a massive local following with nationwide attention sure to follow.
