Empire Building

Ready to unleash rock chaos are Leicester heavyweights Kasabian. Fresh from earth-shaking performances at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend and T In The Park, Serge and co can be relied upon to delight the Reading + Leeds faithful with their energetic bass lines and indefatigable stage presence.

Never short of swagger, the five piece started their chart topping reign with the release of their eponymous debut containing the addictive singles Processed Beats, Club Foot and L.S.F. Four albums in, they show no sign of slowing down, with the last three offerings reaching number 1 on the UK album charts and delivering modern rock anthems Fire, Underdog and Days Are Forgotten.

Heavily indebted to the likes of Primal Scream and Stone Roses, Kasabian have gone on to command a sound all of their own that regularly sees them headline festivals and pick up acclaim, including Q, Brit and NME Awards for Best Live Act and Best Group. They look like rock stars, they sound like rock stars - Kasabian are ready to show you how it's done.

An album uncertain of its direction, from a band making the journey very interesting.
