Not many grime MCs can count Jack White as a fan but Random Impulse isn't your ordinary grime MC. Armed with an electric guitar and supported by a live band on stage, the rapper has already made a name for himself with his fusion of rock riffs and self-written lyrics delivered at speed.

Random, real name Jovel Walker, is definitely mixing in the right circles having supported Pro Green, Rizzle Kicks and good friend Ed Sheeran on tour, written for Lupe Fiasco and engineered sessions for Wretch 32 and Wiley. In 2011, he released his Overload EP in 2011 after spending time honing his sound in the US.

His brand of grime-rock/punk has already caught the attention of The Guardian, MTV, Zane Lowe and many more making his Hackney set (sure to get hot and sweaty) a must see.
