Devlin is an established member of the UK grime scene, belonging to both the OT Crew and The Movement alongside giants of the genre such as Wretch 32, Scorcher, Ghetts and DJ Unique.

With a solid reputation to those in the know, the mainstream is beckoning for this underground favourite. Hotly tipped by Sound of 2010, his debut album Bud, Sweat and Beers generated two UK top 40 hits, Brainwashed and Runaway.

Artists such as Labrinth, Jessie J, Tinchy Stryder and Example are keen to work with this switched-on Essex boy, and after his articulate and assured performance at last year's Big Weekend, it's easy to see why.

His twitter promises a second album in 2012, so be thankful that he's taking the time to impress the Hackney masses with his fervent and bittersweet offerings in June.
