Homegrown star with a classic hip hop style
Hackney born and bred, Isaac Danquah is a super talented, hard working young hip hop MC who first picked up the microphone at the age of 11. Seven years on and Isaac has already been noticed by BBC 1Xtra's DJ Target, who's had his track Simple (based on Pete Rock's A Little Soul instrumental) on heavy rotation.
Working over beats with a classic hip hop feel, Isaac's delivery is easy on the ear and insightful in equal measures. Well worth your attention over Hackney Weekend.
