Leicester's finest Kasabian, bring their full gamut of romp, tunes and swagger to a Radio 1 stage for the first time since Swindon's Big Weekend in 2009.

The multi-award winning artists having been riding a wave of success since the much celebrated release of 2011's fourth album Velociraptor!, and lead singles Days Are Forgotten and Re-Wired.

Since then the quintet have been busy touring the UK ahead of a 2012 overseas tour, taking the energy of their mammoth stage show to various distant destinations including Japan, Dubai and New Zealand. The Radio 1 favourites are extremely excited about Hackney 2012, and promise to set the place on fire this June.
