There's a lovely air of mystery around Arthur Beatrice that makes them even more enticing. Even with a relatively low-key web presence, the London fourpiece produce intelligent dynamic indie pop that is too highly ranked by the blogosphere to stay in the shadows for long.

At the front of Arthur Beatrice are both a male (Orlando Leopard) and female (Ella Giradoit) lead vocalist. This makes for some beautiful moments on the handful of tracks they've released so far (including the soaring, sweeping Midland) and a style that's sure to endear them to fans of The xx, James Blake and Warpaint.
