Our Friends Say We Should Act Our Age

Reading + Leeds serve up an unmeasurable treat to round off this year's quartet of headlining greats. The lesser spotted Blink-182 make a special effort to visit the UK for their favourite festivals for the first time since 2010. Back then R&L's Melvin Benn promised to have them back within 5 years, following a headline set at Reading that drew one of the biggest crowds the festival has ever seen.

The San Diego trio promise a seventh studio album before August, but its the legacy of almost 20 years in music that makes this appearance so hotly anticipated. The trio forced pop-punk into the mainstream in the 90s, winning themselves unrivalled support from the likes of MTV and Radio 1 at the same time as influencing an infinite list of future R+L line-up additions.

We'll be on the look out for new found favourites, 90s classics and the biggest party of the summer.
