Jury Service
Each year the BBC asks members of the public, who are UK Citizens and resident in the UK, to take part in one of the most important challenges for each annual Eurovision Song Contest.
Almost as important as singing the song, being part of the UK Stand-By Jury is a rare and honourable duty that should not be taken lightly.
We need adults (over the age of 18) to be available for the semi final on Tuesday 12th May, and to come to BBC Television Centre in London and take part in this prestigious event.
The Stand-By Jury watch the dress rehearsal of the semi-final and cast their votes on the songs. These votes will be sent to Moscow and will be the UK vote if the computerised tele-voting system breaks down.
A knowledge of Eurovision isn't totally vital, but we'd like all volunteers to be enthusiastic, have good stamina and a love of music.
We'd like a mixture of ages and sexes. We also need at least half the Stand-By Jury to be from a professional music/musical background - for example musician, music teacher, song writer.
The BBC will pay for your transport to and from BBC Television Centre but unfortunately cannot cover any accommodation costs.
