Rehearsals: The Final
After the drama of Saturday night, which saw the Emperors of Soul voted out of Your Country Needs You, it was back to rehearsals as the acts prepared for Saturday's live final.
Mark was in positive mood after the semi-final result as he came into the rehearsal room laughing and joking.
His good form continued in the rehearsal for the group number "Making Your Mind Up"- Mark was dancing around with endless amounts of energy, adding his own ad-libs, and dance moves and reducing The Twins and Jade to fits of laughter!
Like Mark, The Twins were in fine form after Saturday night and launched straight into their Girls Aloud number "The Promise" without a hitch. They enjoyed working with the new group of male dancers, in particular Nicola who went red every time one of the dancers performed a saucy dance move near her...
The girls started working on their new number "Sweet About Me" - vocally the girls seem happy and in control of the song. They seemed to enjoy performing the group number and looked really confident as they went through their dance moves with Mark and Jade.
Jade was in fighting spirit and was determined to put last Saturday's show out of her mind as she threw herself into the first day of rehearsals. She was full of enthusiasm and energy as she went through the dance routine of "Lady Marmalade". Despite the choreography presenting some tricky moves, Jade kept practicing the routine and her former song "Deja Vu"until she was happy with both.
Jade has clearly put the disappointment of last Saturday behind her and is looking to show that grit and determination come the night of the final.
The acts know the gloves are off and they have to come out fighting if they are to be in with a chance of winning the final and representing the UK in Moscow. Whatever the result, the acts are looking for a knockout performance this Saturday in the final of Your Country Needs You...
