Rehearsals - girls
On Tuesday, all four of the remaining acts in Your Country Needs You hit the rehearsal room to prepare for Saturday's semi-final.
It was business as usual for The Twins Francine & Nicola as they spent the morning running through their harmonies. They encountered a few initial problems, but got them ironed out by the end of the session.
The girls were obviously relishing getting into "rock-chick" mode for their first song - the Sugababes' "About You Now" - experimenting with different facial expressions and poses.
Their second song was much slower, The Everly Brothers' "All I Have To Do Is Dream." For this tune, the girls are trying a very different style of stage presentation - you'll have to wait and see exactly what it is! The girls are very excited to be singing in the semi-final and are delighted by the support they've received from their family and boyfriends.
Jade was very pleased to have the backing dancers again this week for Aretha Franklin's "Think". She expressed her concerns to choreographer Paul about her performance on the second live show - he said it was down to confidence, and told Jade that she needs to bounce back with a strong performance this Saturday.
Jade was back on song in the vocal room, running through Celine Dion's "All by Myself". She revealed that despite the glowing remarks she received from Duncan James and Lulu on Saturday, she was still a bit disappointed with her performance. Jade knows how slim the margin of error is on Saturday's live show, and having narrowly missed out on possible record deals twice in the past, she is determined to make it through to the final...
