Live show 2 preview
The five remaining acts battle it out again this Saturday in Your Country Needs You. Once again, the public will cast their votes - the two with the fewest votes will be left in the Danger Zone. Andrew Lloyd Webber will then save one act and send the other one home!
This week, the show will open with all of the acts performing Brotherhood of Man's 'Save All Your Kisses For Me' - a song that won the Eurovision Song Contest for the UK way back in 1976.
The Twins, Nicola and Francine, will be the first act to take to the stage. They're singing Girls Aloud's recent hit 'The Promise'. The Twins are very excited about performing live again; "When cameras are there - you know you're singing out to everyone at home."
Emperors of Soul are the next act to sing with their version of Prince's Eighties classic "Kiss". The group is looking to exhibit their own personalities and voices on the song following Andrew's comments last Saturday. "It's important for us to show the audience that we're not just stuck in the Sixties," said Fraser.
Jade has big shoes to fill this week as she is going to perform Christina Aguilera's power ballad 'The Voice Within'. Jade chose a song out of her comfort zone in order to showcase her vocal diversity, saying "I've got to prove to the audience in those two minutes that I'm capable of taking on this challenge."
Charlotte will be the fourth act on stage, singing Duffy's most recent single 'Rain On Your Parade'. Charlotte is determined to give an awe-inspiring performance after being saved by Andrew Lloyd Webber last week; "If he didn't think I could do it, he wouldn't put me through."
The last of our acts to perform is Mark who is singing a soulful version of Billy Paul's 'Me And Mrs Jones'. Like Jade and the Emperors, Mark is very keen to show a different side to his personality this week as he attempts to ditch his big theatrical singing voice.
The show is closed by two performances, both of which are written by our very own Diane Warren who will be providing the lyrics to the tune that Andrew Lloyd Webber is writing. The girls are set to perform DeBarge's classic 'Rhythm Of The Night' with the boys singing their version of Starship's number one smash hit "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now".
Complete with a guest appearance by top new girl group The Saturdays, the sparks are sure to fly as the acts take a step closer to realising their dream of representing the UK in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
