Damien leaves the competition
Damien was the first act to be voted out of Eurovision: Your Country Needs You. He was left in the Danger Zone along with Charlotte after polling the fewest votes from the public. Andrew said of his decision: "It's so tough... but I'm going to save Charlotte."

Earlier on, all of the six acts had sung their hearts out to be in with a chance of representing the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The first act to perform was Emperors of Soul, performing 'Love Train' by The O'Jays. "All five of them can sing as individuals in their own right - not like an ordinary boy-band with one or two singers," said Andrew. "I've never seen anything like this on Eurovision - I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing!"
Next up was Mark, who sang Will Young's 'Your Game'. "You let your voice open completely up tonight, which was what I wanted to see," Andrew commented. "I thought it was a very charismatic performance."
Charlotte was third to take to the stage, performing 'Because of You' by Kelly Clarkson. Andrew liked what he heard. "You really pulled it off, extraordinarily." "Tonight you really pulled it out of the bag. You hit those notes - well done!" said Lulu.
Damien performed next, singing Michael Bolton's power-ballad 'How Am I Supposed To Live Without You?' "You connected with the words - I love the gravelly quality in your voice," said Andrew. However both Andrew and Arlene questioned if Damien was different enough to make an impact on the Eurovision audience. Lulu, however, said that Damien's voice "gave me goosebumps".
The penultimate performers were The Twins, Nicola and Francine, who sang 'You've Got A Friend' by James Taylor. "When you sing together, you have that extraordinary thing when you go into harmony," said Andrew. "They don't have the strongest voices, but the warmth and sheer joy was amazing," added Arlene.
And last to take the Eurovision: Your Country Needs You stage was Jade, who sang 'Deja Vu' by Beyonce. "That's the most impressive first performance on any of my shows that I've ever seen," said Andrew. "Absolutely remarkable," said Lulu. "You've really lifted the bar. Most of the people on the show are great - you are exceptional." "They say Alesha's the new Beyonce - well let me tell you, YOU'RE a new Beyonce," added Arlene.
