Something to Shout about - here's Lulu!
Lulu gave our acts some advice on stage presence.
On Monday, the UK's Eurovision hopefuls got a taste of the enormous task that lies ahead of them, as they were taken to the O2 Arena in Greenwich to get some first-hand experience of performing in a large stadium.
The acts were shown to one of the executive boxes where they were met by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who broke the news to them that this massive 20,000-seater venue is about the same size as the one the winning act will have to perform on in Russia. Gulp!
Everyone then went down onto the main stage and were told that their Euromission task today was to give a live performance to prove they have stage presence.
To help them, Andrew had invited along the legendary Lulu, the UK's 1969 Eurovision-winning contestant (with Boom Bang-a-Bang) and one of our most talented and respected pop performers. Lulu will be on hand throughout the series to give her invaluable guidance to the hopefuls.
The acts then took turns to give their live performances in front of Lulu and Andrew, who offered their help and advice. It was really exciting day, with the acts realising that they've got a lot of hard work ahead of them if they're going to represent the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest...
Don't miss Eurovision: Your Country Needs You at 6.40pm on Sat 10 Jan to see how the acts' fared at performing in a huge arena in front of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lulu.
