Performed by: Next Time
Music: Jovan Jovanov and Damjan Lazarov
Lyrics: Elvir Mekic
Yeah, Yeah you're from heaven
The sweetest thing that will remain
When you're not here my days are so lonely
So lost and gone I can't move on
When you're not here the words I feel
Can not be said I feel so dead
When you're not here there's nothing to feel
I can not smile nothing is real
The only thing I wanna see
Something beautiful to me
Yeah, Yeah these eyes wanna see you
And watch you all day and through the night
Yeah, Yeah these lips wanna kiss you
These arms wanna hold you, hold you tight
Yeah, Yeah for better for worse as the time goes by
We’ll never be the same
Yeah, Yeah but you're from heaven
The sweetest thing that will remain
Looking at life is a wonderful thing
Full of intrigues that hide what's within
Keep searching the place
That you already know
Together we'll find the right way to go
Yeah, Yeah these eyes wanna see you
And watch you all day and through the night
Yeah, Yeah these lips wanna kiss you
These arms wanna hold you, hold you tight
Yeah, Yeah for better for worse as the time goes by
We'll never be the same
Yeah, Yeah but you're from heaven
The sweetest thing that will remain
Ye-ye
No ti si od boga najmilo neshto shto ke ostane
Da ne si ti bi nemal za kogo
Ljubovna pesna da napisham
Da ne si ti bi nemal so shto
Pred lugjeto jas da se pofalam
Da ne si ti ni usnive
Nasmevka nema da gi pokrie
Ako tvojot glas ne me razbudi
Cel den tazen mene mi e
Ye-ye
Ovie ochi i denje i noke bi te gledale
Ye-ye
Na ovie usni nasmevka chuvam samo za tebe
Ye-ye
I radost i taga vikaat bilo pa ke pomine
Ye-ye
No ti si od boga najmilo neshto shto ke ostane
Vo zivotot ima i ubavi neshta
Za toj shto znae da zivee
Vo ovoj svet ima i skrieni mesta
No treba ti da gi prepoznaesh
Ye-ye
Ovie ochi i denje i noke bi te gledale
Ye-ye
Na ovie usni nasmevka chuvam samo za tebe
Ye-ye
I radost i taga vikaat bilo pa ke pomine
Ye-ye
No ti si od boga najmilo neshto shto ke ostane
Ljubov ti davam da dobijam neshto
Neshto shto ke ostane.
Ye-ye
I radost i taga vikaat bilo pa ke pomine
Ye-ye
No ti si od boga najmilo neshto shto ke ostane
Ye-ye
I radost i taga vikaat bilo pa ke pomine
Ye-ye
No ti si od boga najmilo neshto shto ke ostane
"Next Time" is a rock duo from Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. This Macedonian duo consists of the twin brothers, Martin and Stefan Filipovski. Stefan fronts the band as the lead singer, while Martin plays the guitar and sings back-up vocals. The duo has only been known by the name "Next Time" since the beginning of 2008. Previously they performed as a garage band and at some music festivals for children.
With the release of their first album also named "Next Time" in only 8 months after their appearance, they gained popularity and are now an important part of the Macedonian music scene.
"Next Time" was formed in early 2008 after signing with Plan B Production. Discovered by the composer and songwriter Jovan Jovanov, the Macedonian duo released their first single "Ne Veruvam Vo Tebe" ("I Don't Believe in You") in May, 2008. The lyrics of the song were written by "Next Time" and with Jovanov as a producer. "I Don`t Believe In You" immediately entered multiple charts in Macedonia and was a major success which brought "Next Time" to the top of the Macedonian music scene. The band also released their first music video for the song.
Soon followed Next Time's first festival appearance at the First Radio Music Festival "Zvezdena Nok" (Star Night) in June, 2008. At "Star Night", the duo won the "Summer Hit of the Year" award with their second song "Me Mislish Li?" ("Do You Think Of Me?"). Two months later at Ohrid Fest, "Next Time" were voted "Best New Artist" with their third single "Me Ostavi Sam Da Zhiveam" ("You Left Me All Alone"). However, Next Time's biggest festival success came in October 2008 when they won the second semi-final evening at MakFest - one of the most renowned Macedonian Music Festival. With their fourth single "Bez Tebe Tivko Umiram" ("I'm Dying Slowly Without You") they went on to finish second in the final of the festival.
Next Time
On the 16th of December, 2008 "Next Time" released their debut album which was also named "Next Time". The album featured 13 songs, two of which were bonus tracks performed in foreign languages. One of the bonus tracks is in English and it is named "Why Did You Go". The other is a cover of an Italian pop-opera song called "Caruso".
Four music videos for the first four singles were already circulating the media when the album was released, with a few more videos to come. "Next Time" are constantly performing shows throughout the year all around Macedonia, and they are also taking part in different humanitarian projects.
