Hello, I'm Tom Warmington and I work for the BBC. The good news is that I'll be spending the whole week at the International Jamboree with you! We'll be there from 31st July till the 7th August.

I'll be staying on site all week sleeping in a tent in the staff enclosure (makes it sound like a zoo!), taking part in all the same activities as you and recording everything while I do it.

Being honest - I'm really excited and not at all nervous. I think it's going to be a fab week and can't wait to meet you all. That's my photo at the top of the page so if you spot me come and say hello!

I'll be updating these pages throughout the week with diaries, pictures and video so your parents can check what you're up to! (Don't worry, I won't tell them everything!!!) And don't forget there'll be Internet access on site so you can see if you appear here - you can also log on once you get home and be reminded of what a great week it was.

During the week I'll also be on the radio (I'm going to be busy) so we can let the rest of the county know how much fun you have at a Jamboree. So make sure you get your parents, grandparents, goldfish and anyone else you've ever met listening in - they'll be able to hear us throughout the week on BBC Essex 103.5 & 95.3FM.
