Tom Edwards was a journalist who became the senior presenter at Radio City on the Shivering Sands sea fort after joining them in September 1965.

He earned the nickname Tatty Tom for his immaculate dress code.

After Radio City's demise in February 1967, Tom joined Radio Caroline South and broadcast till the Marine Offences Act became law.

He has presented shows on Radio 1 and Radio 2 and is well known to television viewers in East Anglia. He was recently heard presenting a show on New Year's Day on BBC Radio Norfolk.
