Ian Wyatt

One of Ian's most memorable broadcasting moments was when the zip broke on his trousers, seconds before the clock struck 12 on Millennium night while live in Chelmsford High Street.

Ian was raised on the sounds of the 60s as they echoed around his childhood Colchester home.

One of the youngest members of the team, Ian has made Pirate BBC Essex possible through his technical prowess. He's also an accomplished producer of outside broadcasts with last year's BBC Essex Steve's Summer Saturday series and many other specials to his name.

Ian is a regular broadcaster on BBC Essex.
