Much has been done recently to restore the park and the fine Victorian gardens at Audley End.  The garden at Audley End is unique in that it is cultivated organically.  The Banquetting Room at Hylands House has been fully restored in the neo-Baroque style.  The Saloon provides entrances to the Library and the Drawing Room.  On entering the House via the marble portico, visitors enter the restored Entrance Hall.  The elegance of this room is echoed in the ceiling and décor.  The Ionic Pillars offer an elegant entrance into the Small Dining Room.  Throughout the history of the House this room has always been used as a Study.
