FACTS

Jason has had a second transplant at the age of 35.

He suffered from a heart virus called Cardio Myopathy.

Jason says it take about a year to recover from the operation.

They look like an ordinary happy family, but Jason has not always been so healthy.

When he was fifteen he found out he had a heart virus called Cardio Myopathy.
Six months later he had to have a heart transplant.

Now at the age of 35 and with a young family he is recovering from a second transplant.

He learned his heart and kidneys were failing around a year ago and became very ill, to the point where he couldn't even walk three steps without getting out of breath.

Jason is keen to make people more aware of organ donation and to encourage people to carry donor cards.
