She's beaten the odds twice. A family from Hornchurch are beginning their lives again, after their young daughter survived a brain tumour. Maya Perrin Skippen was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour when she was four years old and was given a 50 per cent chance of surviving. Since then she has beaten the odds twice and now her family are talking about the experience.
