Lucy's story from man to woman

Lucy was born male. She spent 50 years of her life living as a woman trapped in a mans body. She has been telling the story of her journey to becoming a woman.

Lucy has lived her entire life as a transgendered women, fearing ridicule.

As her 50th birthday approached she was no longer willing to live as a female in a male body.

Lucy grew up in care before joining the army where she served in the Falklands War and did two tours of Northern Ireland.

She even married and it was only after the death of her wife that she decided to have the operation to finally make her the woman she always felt she was.
