Friends, colleagues and listeners have been paying tribute to the Reverend Canon Chris Bard, who passed away on Sunday, 2, September. The BBC Essex Faith and Ethics Producer presented the Sunday faith programme since 2001 and also made documentaries on the building of Brentwood Cathedral, the Weeley Pop Festival, Bradwell Chapel and modern Roman Catholic hymn writing. Away from his work at BBC Essex, Chris was the Vicar of Theydon Garnon and Epping Upland and also Chaplain to Capel Manor College (London's Horticultural College). His colleagues, friends and listeners have been paying tribute to Chris on BBC Essex programmes and website.
